Workshop Overview
Two of Australasia’s key sports conditioners deliver the practical how tos of how to plan and implement training programmes for athletes. A wide range of examples and practical drills will be used on this workshop.

- Injury pre-habilitation work

- Practical on court/field conditioning

- Speed conditioning contd.

This is a REPs Registered Ongoing Education Course.
Attendance at the course = 3.75 CECs. A written exam will also be supplied to participants who wish to gain an additional 3.75 CECs from the course.

Description
Dave is a high performance sport specialist and works in both Australia and New Zealand consulting to a wide range of sporting clients. He has two decades of experience working with a diverse range of clients from endurance adventure racing athletes to combat athletes.
He was a researcher and lecturer at the Schools of Physical Education and Occupational Therapy (Otago) until 1997 then was a senior lecturer in Exercise Rehabilitation and Resistance Training/Programming at Wellington Institute of Technology until 2004.
Dave was the head trainer for the New Zealand Black Sox for two successful World Series campaigns, and NZ hockey for several Commonwealth and Olympic Games. He was also the head trainer for the NZ Men and Women’s Golf.
Jamie is the face of the international sport speed training company XLR8. He has presented in the UK, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand and the Middle East.
Since moving from Australia to NZ in 2004 Jamie has worked with a wide variety of athletes as a multidirectional speed and sport conditioning coach. His extensive client list includes:
