Workshop Overview
This practical workshop will outline the injury rehabilitation for 3 example clients with the following injuries:
- Lumbar instability and pain
- Shoulder impingement and instability syndromes
- Anterior knee pain
The theoretical approach to rehabilitation, programme design, and exercise selection will be justified for each example. This workshop will involve a large practical component so that participants can learn and feel the prescribed exercises.

Description
Suzi Nevell is a New Zealand trained Physical Therapist / Manual Therapist and a professional strength and conditioning coach. She is also a senior faculty Instructor for the Chek Institute
She has worked in the area of sports and spinal rehabilitation for over 20 years and has worked with an extensive array of clients from professional touring ballet companies, international rugby, gymnastics, professional women’s tennis players and some of the world’s best extreme athletes i.e. Moto-cross, skateboarding, and surfing/ snowboarding athletes.
She works with manual therapy, joint mobilization and combines the treatment package with strength and conditioning training and muscle balancing.
She also includes all aspects of nutrition and lifestyle coaching in her programmes for optimal results
Suzi splits her time between New Zealand and the United States working as a consultant in both countries.
Qualifications include:
New York State and New Zealand Registered Physical Therapist
Acupuncturist
Advanced Diploma in Physiotherapy (Orthopaedic Manual Therapy)
CHEK Practitioner Level 4
Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach Level 3
Golf Bio-mechanic Certification
